Furman St. Studio

Small apartments require very careful measurements and tightly edited and conscious selections: if one new item comes in, one item must go out. By anchoring the living space with an apartment-sized sectional sofa and round swivel chair, Julia then moved on to the sleeping corner. By adding of a wall of hanging metal beads on a track, the two spaces became divided with both light and air flowing between. Modern yet still cozy, the blue gray ombre painted wall stretches from the bedside into the living room, cohesive yet still divided into two comfy and welcoming spaces.
